Two arrested for possession of unlicensed firearms in Durban

The Durban Metro Police Service TRIO CRIMES working with South African Police Service Umzinto K9, Scottburgh District task team, ET Response and Umlazi Detectives had a joint operation yesterday.

The operation resulted in the arrest of two African males which were found in possession of unlicensed firearm(serial number filed off)and ammunition.

Both Accused were placed under Arrest and taken to Scottburgh SAPS for detention.

A further investigation with Umlazi Detectives led the team to Umlazi Q where an African male was found in possession of unlicensed firearm (serial number filed off) and ammunition and Possession of homemade REVOVLER.

The accused was placed under Arrest and taken to Umlazi SAPS for Detention.
