The Arlington police are investigating a case of murder after the body of an elderly woman aged 73 was found in her house with stab wounds.
It’s alleged that on 5 December 2023 at about 20:45, the 52-year-old woman renting in the same yard as the elderly woman (73) became worried that she last saw her on Sunday, 3 December 2023. It’s further alleged that she broke down the window panel to access the house. That’s when she was shocked to find the elderly lady lying motionless on the bed. She immediately summoned the police, who arrived at the house with EMS personnel.
The elderly women was declared dead. She was lying on her bed, covered with a blanket, with fatal stab wounds in her shoulder and chest. The motive behind the killing is not yet known, including the suspect. The post-mortem will be conducted for further investigations. A case of murder is being investigated.
