A 47 year old man was shot multiple times during an attempted armed robbery in Ntombe – KZN last night (Friday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on scene at approximately 22:07 and met with the victim. It was established that he sells Marijuana and alcohol from the premises. Four (4) unknown males arrived at his residence and demanded that he unlock the security gate to allow them entry. They fired three (3) shots in his direction after he refused to comply. He was struck twice on his back and once on his left hand. The suspects thereafter fled.
The victim believed that the men intended on robbing him.
