On Monday morning IPSS Medical Rescue received reports of a drowning at a hotel in the Ballito area.
On arrival it was found that a young child had become submerged in the pool, a lifeguard was able to rescue the child and on arrival the child was conscious and alert.
The young patient has been transported to a nearby facility by IPSS Medical Rescue for monitoring.
Well done to the life guard on a successful rescue.
