ATNS offers Air Traffic Control Bursaries for Qualifying Youth

Air Traffic and Navigation Services (ATNS) SOC Ltd, an entity of the Department of Transport, invites qualifying youth to apply for the company’s Air Traffic Control (ATC) Bursary opportunities that the company offers.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for young people who aspire to become air traffic specialists within the aviation industry, with a special focus on Air Traffic Management, to become qualified Air Traffic Control Officers (ATCOs) and placed into ATNS employment upon completion of training.

To qualify for the bursary, applicants should be aged between 18 and 35 years in possession of a valid Grade 12 certificate that they have passed Pure Mathematics and English with Level 4 or Higher Grade with a D symbol or Standard Grade with a C symbol. All applicants must be South African citizens with a valid identity document, be medically fit, and be willing to relocate anywhere in South Africa.
