The police at Navalsig are investigating a business robbery that occurred on Saturday, 6 January 2024, in Sand du Plessis Avenue, Estoire.
According to information, the four armed males arrived at the gate and forcibly gained entry. The security officer was tied up and the suspects attempted to blow up the safe. The suspects were seen leaving the building in a white motor vehicle.
Damage estimated at R375 000-00 was caused to the safe, CCTV, solar panels and other parts of the building; nothing was stolen from the safe as the suspects failed to break it open with the explosive device.
