On Sunday 07 January 2024, the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Tactical Response Unit Officers, arrested a 37-year-old male and narcotics worth R650, were seized.
After intensive surveillance, EMPD Officers moved in and a Tsakane resident, staying by the Langaville section was found with twenty-nine (29) small bags of crystal meth, twenty-four (24) small bags of khat including the brownie and R100 in cash, was handcuffed and taken to the Tsakane police station.
The apprehended suspect, facing charges of possession and possible dealing in illicit substance, is expected to appear at the Tsakane Magistrate’s Court soon.
