KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison, Sipho Hlomuka today conducted a contractor handover of P2/6 programme in Mtubatuba Local Municipality.
This project entails of blacktop patching and rut repair on P235/1, P237, P2/6, P484, P396, P397 and P380. This project will improve the safety and curb further expenditure to the existing infrastructure.
MEC Hlomuka was joined by uMkhanyakude District Mayor and Deputy Mayor, Cllr. Siphile Mdaka and Cllr. T. Sibiya, Mtubatuba Local Municipality Mayor, Cllr. Mxolisi Mthethwa, Local House of Traditional Leadership, Inkosi Mkhwanazi and officials.
MEC Hlomuka concluded his programme at Ngqopheni Community Hall where he officially handed ovet the contractor and engaged the community of ward 23, Mtubatuba Local Municipality.
