Suspect arrested for possession of drugs in Hillbrow

TRU officers were busy with crime prevention patrols when they saw a suspicious male carrying a bag at Prospect and Fife street in Hillbrow.

They approached him and he fled, dropping the bag.

The officers searched the bag and found illegal substances: small packets nyaope and rock drugs.

The suspect was arrested and transported to a nearby police station.
