A suspect was arrested with more than 500 mandrax tablets as police continued with operations in Westbury, Sophiatown.
The arrest was made in the early hours of Saturday, 06 April 2024. as police in Johannesburg, including Anti-Gang Unit, conducted a codon-and-search operation in Westbury to recover drugs and illegal firearms that are rife in the area.
These police operations will continue in all the areas where there is a proliferation of drugs and illegal firearms.
