Man Robbed Of Cash & Takkies: Waterloo – KZN

A 35-year-old man was deprived of R2000 in cash and his Nike takkies during a business robbery in Waterloo – KZN a short while ago (Wednesday).

Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to Python Road at approximately 18:47 after receiving reports of shots being fired at a tuck shop. On arrival, Reaction Officers met with an Ethiopian national.

He explained that six (6) males approached the business that is operating out of a shipping container. One (1) of the suspects fired a shot at the victim and demanded that he unlock the security gate. The male complied and was robbed of cash and his Nike takkies. The perpetrators thereafter fled. It could not be confirmed if a vehicle was used. A 9mm spent cartridge (picture 3) was recovered at the scene.
