On Tuesday, 20 May 2025, SAPS Brakpan, in collaboration with stakeholders, conducted a school search operation at Hoërskool De Anker in Sector 3 of the policing precinct.
The operation aimed to prevent lawlessness and ensure safety within school premises by removing illicit articles. A substantial amount of prohibited items were confiscated, including: dangerous weapons, vapes, knives, dagga, cigarettes and alcohol.
The school principal expressed appreciation for the efforts of law enforcement agencies in promoting discipline and safety among learners.
