Six (6) suspects armed with firearms held up employees of a tavern while they were in the process of closing up this morning (Sunday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to Pricklepear Road at approximately 00:46 after receiving a call for assistance. On arrival, it was established that six (6) men entered the business and produced firearms. They held up two (2) female employees and stole cash & a Samsung A35 cellphone. The victims were locked in the premises before the suspects fled in an unknown direction.
No injuries were reported.
