Just after 14h30pm KZN VIP Control Centre received reports of a house fire in Cardinal Road, Phoenix.
Immediately available Emergency Response Units were dispatched to the location. Upon arrival, KZN VIP Officers it was established that a small fire which was lit quickly spread due to the wind and began burning on the Wendy House.
KZN VIP Officers extinguished Attempted to control the fire and prevent it from spreading by using buckets of water.
Fire department arrived on scene and extinguished the fire and made the area safe. Thankfully no injuries were reported.
