No injuries were reported after two (2) vehicles collided on the southbound lane of the R102 in Canelands – KZN this afternoon (Wednesday).
Passing motorists contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) for assistance from 17:32. Reaction Officers and RUSA Paramedics were immediately dispatched and on arrival established that the occupants of both vehicles were not injured.
It was alleged that the white VW Polo was reversing on the R102. The driver suddenly made a u-turn in attempt to drive contra flow. A red Toyota Yaris attempted to veer out of the way, but collided into the VW Polo.
It was not established why the driver of the VW Polo drove contra flow.
