A man suffering from Mental Health Issues was stabbed and left for dead in Waterloo – KZN today (Sunday).
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call from a member of the public requesting assistance on Soccer Road at approximately 15:49. Reaction Officers were immediately dispatched and on arrival, were led to a dilapidated building on a soccer ground when the seriously injured male was located.
He sustained a stab wound to his left arm and his back. His organs were protruding from one (1) of the injuries. Residents informed Officers that the man has no known family and lives in the desolate building. The motive for the attack was unknown.
The injured male was transported to a medical facility.
