A pedestrian was robbed of his cellphone on Wick Street in the Verulam CBD – KZN this morning (Wednesday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) interviewed the 55-year-old victim who stated that he was blindsided by three (3) suspects who forced him to the ground and deprived him of his Stylo cellphone. The suspects fled in an unknown direction. The victim was walking to his place of employment at the time of the incident.
Reaction Officers conducted an extensive search for the robbers, but no arrests were made.
