The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Community liaison Unit (CLU) Officers and Eden Park (SAPS) Officers, arrested a forty-seven(47) year old Malawian male in Palmridge.
The arrest follows a tip off about an individual producing and selling fraudulent documents at an internet café on K-146 Road. Officers proceeded to the said location and upon arrival, Officers found the owner and proceeded to search the premises. They discovered boxes full of fake school reports, asylum permits, passports, date stamp for certifying documents, medical certificate to mention a few.
The suspect was arrested and detained at the Eden Park Police Station, facing charges of fraud and for being in the country illegally. He is
expected to appear at the Palmridge Magistrate’s Court soon.
