A family residing in Everest Heights – KZN returned home to discover their residence had been thoroughly ransacked.
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) responded to a call on Himalaya Drive at 23:30 (Saturday) after the family found damage to the fence and the kitchen door forced open. The residence was secured and locked upon their departure at 17:00. The stolen items included two laptops, wedding jewelry, and other valuable possessions.
The family dog present on the premises during the incident remained unharmed.
