A 66 year old elderly female was left traumatised following a home invasion in Haycroft, Phoenix, earlier today, 28 August 2025.
KZNVIP Response Officers and Medics were dispatched after reports of the incident.
It is believed that the suspect jumped over the property’s fence and as the victim attempted to close her door, the suspect forced it open, causing her to fall to the ground. The suspect then grabbed an undisclosed amount of valuables before fleeing in an unknown direction.
The suspect has been described as an African male, dressed in black pants, a grey jacket and a black cap.
The victim was assessed on scene by KZNVIP Medics. SAPS have been informed and investigations are underway.
