Two women were arrested on Saturday, 30 August 2025, after they were found in possession of drugs and cash at a residence in Chris Hani, Kopanong.
At about 18:40, members of the Provincial Anti-Gang Unit in Bloemfontein received a tip-off regarding a house suspected of being used for drug dealing. Police responded to the address, where they found two women inside the premises.
When the suspects noticed the police presence, one of them attempted to move towards the living room. An officer followed and discovered 55 small ziplock bags containing crystal meth on a table, along with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The drugs and money were confiscated. The two suspects, aged 28 and 19, were arrested on charges of dealing in drugs.
