Durban Metro Police Tactical Support Unit (TSU) and EITT members conducted an intelligence-driven operation following information received about illegal drug activity.
A vehicle of interest was located on Longbury Drive, Phoenix. Upon further investigation, officers discovered crack cocaine, small bags of cocaine, and cocaine powder. The operation was extended to a residence in Campbellstown, Phoenix, where additional drugs were recovered, including:
- Pure Cocaine Powder – 180 grams
- Crack Cocaine – 1,016 pieces
- Moon-shaped Crack Cocaine – 15 pieces
- Proceeds of Crime – R2,500 in cash
- Estimated Street Value: R382,500
The suspect was arrested and handed over to South African Police Service for further processing.
