Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received calls for assistance from residents on Rabbit Road in Waterloo – KZN at 22:12 (Sunday) after a man with a gunshot wound ran into a residential property.
Vehicle tracking reports indicate that Reaction Officers arrived on scene at 22:16. Officers reported back that the man had suffered a gunshot wound to his abdomen. When interviewed he stated that four (4) men attempted to rob him. According to the man, the suspects opened fire when he attempted to flee.
