VIERFONTEIN – Two men, aged 54 and 60, were arrested in Vierfontein for possession of gold-bearing material.
On Wednesday, 10 September 2025, at about 15:00, the Fezile Dabi Trio Task Team together with the Sasolburg Crime Intelligence Unit conducted a tracing operation at No. 9 Jumbo Shaft Mine, which resulted in the arrest of the suspects.
The duo is expected to appear before the Viljoenskroon Magistrate’s Court soon on charges of possession of gold-bearing material.
