SAPS Gauteng Provincial Commissioner, Lt Gen Tommy Mthombeni led yet another successful multidisciplinary high-density #OperationShanela II in Mamelodi and Mamelodi East policing precinct, Tshwane District last night.
At a roadblock, 24 suspects were apprehended for drunk and driving, more than 30 undocumented persons arrested, five for possession/dealing in drugs, one possession of unlicensed firearm.
The provincial detectives arrested 762 suspects during overnight #TracingOps with 193 for crimes against women and children overnight. Compliance inspections were conducted in Mamelodi and Mamelodi East where three liquor outlets were closed for non-compliance.
