Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to Gopalall Hurbans Road in Tongaat CBD – KZN following reports of multiple storefronts struck by gunfire.
Upon arrival, Reaction Officers were informed by a local businessman that the damage is believed to have stemmed from a shooting incident linked to a robbery at a nearby business premises on
Saturday night where shots were allegedly exchanged. The bullet holes were only discovered today (Tuesday).
While both incidents occurred in proximity, Reaction Officers were unable to confirm a direct connection between the robbery and the damaged storefronts.
