POLOKWANE – The members of Bela-Bela Police Station have arrested a 28-year-old male suspect for possession of an unlicensed firearm at Zuma view in Bela-Bela during an intensive investigation after an arson and inquest reported.
On Friday, 19 September 2025, the police were summoned to an incident of arson at Zuma views Bela-Bela where a tin house was reported burning. Upon reaching the scene, they noticed a human body burned beyond recognition.
The alleged suspect was identified and arrested at Zuma view in possession of an unlicensed firearm.
A male suspect will appear before Bela-Bela Magistrate court on Monday, 22 September 2025 for possession of an unlicensed firearm.
