The Westbury community was painted purple as the iMasFinance team shared its care and commitment by donating boxes of sanitary pads to Westbury Senior Secondary School and 582 pairs of school shoes to Bernard Isaacs Primary School.
At the heart of our cooperative is the belief that giving back matters. The future belongs to our children and ensuring that they can walk to school in new, comfortable shoes is an initiative that warms our hearts.
The Westbury community has faced many challenges, but the joy on the children’s faces lit up the day. “May these shoes walk in the right places, and may our kids be found doing the right things while wearing them” said community leader Val Le Bon.
As the children received their new shoes, they broke into song, singing: “Thank you for rain, thank you for joy, thank you for pain, it’s a beautiful day-ay-ay-ay-ay.” Their voices of gratitude filled the air. “Thank you so much, iMasFinance, for blessing our school children with much-needed new school shoes,” said Mrs. Latchporia, Deputy Principal of Bernard Isaacs Primary.
Patience Matthews, iMasFinance Dealer Manager, also encouraged the learners: “Every step takes you closer to your future. Strong shoes, strong future.”
iMasFinance is proud to have impacted the lives of these young learners by helping them walk comfortably and confidently in their new school shoes.
We extend our gratitude to everyone who made this possible: Westbury Senior Secondary (Dr. Robinson and Ms. Baloyi), Bernard Isaacs Primary (Mr. Billings – Principal and Mrs. Latchporia – Deputy Principal), community leaders Ms. Val Le Bon and Ms. Kholeka Nkombi.
Together, we walk towards a brighter future.
