In the early hours of Tuesday 30 September 2025, the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Eastern Region Task Team Officers recovered a stolen mini-bus, in the Tsakane area.
While performing their duties in the early hours of the morning, the officers came across an abandoned white Toyota Ses’fikile minibus on Sonnestraal Road. The minibus was inspected and was positively identified as reported stolen at Kwa-Thema area.
The minibus was taken to the police yard for safekeeping.
