Kimberley police request public assistance in locating kidnapped victim

KIMBERLEY – The police in Kimberley are appealing to the public for assistance in locating 32-year-old Amanda Ward, who was allegedly kidnapped on Friday, 03 October 2025.

Preliminary information indicates that on the evening of Friday, 03 October 2025, at approximately 23:00, Amanda Ward and her boyfriend were at a residence in Beaconsfield when they were reportedly attacked by three knife-wielding men.

It is alleged that the suspects covered the boyfriend with a blanket, instructed the couple not to scream, and demanded their belongings. Moments later, he heard the suspects ordering Amanda to accompany them as they fled the scene. That was the last time she was seen.

The boyfriend was reportedly stabbed in the incident.

He subsequently reported the incident to the police. A case of attempted murder and kidnapping is being investigated.
