Half a lamb and a 2 kg packet of chicken were stolen during a home invasion on Redwood Road in Trenance Park – KZN (today).
A 50-year-old woman informed members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) that she was approached by two individuals while attending to her garden. The suspects were dressed in blue overalls. They forced the woman, who uses a walking aid, into her residence and instructed her to remain in the bathroom while they searched the home.
The unarmed suspects stole jewellery, an undisclosed amount of cash, two pairs of takkies, along with the frozen meat and chicken from the freezer. The victim was not injured.
Reaction Officers conducted a search for the suspects, but no arrests were made.
