Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a pedestrian accident on Van Ryneveld Avenue in Pierre van Ryneveld, Centurion this morning.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that two women were knocked over by a vehicle resulting in one woman sustaining serious injuries and the other woman sustaining moderate injuries.
Both women were treated on scene before they were transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
