Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to a shooting incident on Noord Street in Joubert Park, Johannesburg this evening.
Upon their arrival on scene they found a man, believed to be in his forties, in a critical condition following the shooting incident.
The critically injured man was treated on scene and rushed to hospital for the urgent medical care that he required.
Tragically the man died after his arrival at the hospital.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
