15 escaped serious injury this morning after a taxi collided with a light motor vehicle on Edendale road in Pietermaritzburg.
When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene, they discovered both vehicles had been pushed over to the side of the road.
13 occupants from the taxi and two occupants from the light motor vehicle were found on scene, their injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
Paramedics began their treatment of the patients while metro services closed one lane of the road to allow emergency personnel to work safely.
Once the patients were treated, paramedics transported the patients to various hospitals for further observations.
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
