One person was injured following an accident on Ruimte Road in Wierda Park, Centurion this morning after 03h00.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found that a vehicle left the roadway, crashed through a barrier and fence where it came to a standstill.
Upon assessment of the occupant, paramedics found that the occupant had sustained serious injuries during the crash.
The injured patient was treated at the scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail surrounding the cause of the crash and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
