At about 00h30 this morning, Netcare911 paramedics responded to an accident on the N12 in Modderdam , Potchefstroom.
Reports from the scene indicate that a vehicle had crashed into a bridge barrier.
On arrival, paramedics found that the driver of the vehicle was not inside the vehicle.
Police and paramedics embarked on a search around the accident scene.
The search was called off after an hour – the driver of the vehicle was still not found.
Police are investigating the matter.
