Phoenix, KwaZulu-Natal : Members of KZN VIP responded swiftly to a theft incident on Lenham Drive, Phoenix, where a female suspect was apprehended after attempting to steal from a vehicle.
Reports indicate that the suspect gained unauthorized access to the vehicle but was trapped inside when the homeowner locked the car upon noticing the theft in progress. KZN VIP officers arrived promptly at the scene and found the suspect in possession of a knife.
The officers safely detained the suspect, handcuffed her, and recovered all stolen items. The South African Police Service (SAPS) later arrived at the scene and took the female suspect into custody for further detention.
