Update on 132kV Trip – Brakfontein Substation
Consumers fed from Brakfontein Substation will remain off until repairs are completed.
Due to the extent of the damage, including 8 panels affected by the fire, residents should anticipate an extended outage – potentially several days.
Unfortunately, we are not in a position to confirm exact timeframes at this stage.
Areas affected include:
1. Rooihuiskraal
2. The Reeds
3. Amberfield
4. Heuweloord
5. Monavoni line
