A female discovered the lifeless body of her son during a search in Ndwedwe – KZN this morning (Friday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to the scene at approximately 05:21. On arrival, the body of a 22 year old male was discovered on the side of the road. He sustained stabbed wounds to his head and face. A pocket knife was located next to his body.
His 42 year old mother confirmed that her son was known to carry an Okapi knife. She further informed Reaction Officers that she decided to conducted a search for her son after he failed to return from a tavern yesterday afternoon.
It was alleged that he was involved in an altercation with other patrons and repeatedly stabbed with the jagged edge of a beer bottle.
