A 70-year-old pedestrian was robbed of his valuables on Ireland Street in the Verulam CBD – KZN this morning (Friday).
The Pensioner was accosted by two (2) men who manhandled him and stole R70 in cash & his Samsung cellphone. No weapons were produced during the incident. It is believed that the man was targeted due to his age.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) conducted an extensive search for the suspects, but no arrests were made.
