A burnt out candle was blamed for a fire that burnt down a home in Dawncrest – KZN this evening (Saturday).
Officers from Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on scene at 19:17 but found that the home had no piped water to extinguish the blaze. The Ethekweni Fire Department responded swiftly & dosed the flames. No injuries were reported.
The home was completely destroyed.
