A man who escaped from a Traditional Healer was arrested for house break-in in Waterloo – KZN today (Tuesday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to Mgabadeli Road at approximately 11:27. On arrival, Reaction Officers were pointed out to a tuck shop where the suspect was trapped. Officers entered and restrained him.
It was established that the male was receiving treatment for delinquent behaviour at a Traditional Healer. He escaped and broke into a relatives home in Waterloo – KZN. He fled the property after his family tried to apprehend him.
The burglar thereafter attempted to conceal himself in a tuck shop a short distance away. The door was shut leaving the 21 year old trapped inside. His family complained that he is a habitual criminal and requested that he be arrested.
The suspect was thereafter detained at SAPS Verulam in KZN
