Midlands EMS K9 Rescue Unit, including K9 Hunter, alongside Midlands EMS Advanced Life Support paramedics and a local ambulance service, responded to a serious incident in the Hilton area earlier today, where a patient had fallen from a roof.
Upon arrival, rescue medics and paramedics found the patient in a critical condition, requiring urgent advanced life support intervention on scene.
Due to the severity of the injuries sustained, the decision was made to activate the Netcare 911 aeromedical helicopter. The patient was stabilized and airlifted to a Level 1 trauma hospital for further specialist care.
