Just before 14:00 the Volunteer Emergency Medical Response Unit received a call for a municipal worker who was electrocuted while tending to the power outage in Equestria. On arrival we found one person who sustained critical injuries to his face, chest and arms. Due to the seriousness of their injuries the decision was made to airlift the patient to a specialist Burns center in Johannesburg.
City of Tshwane electricity department was on scene to investigate the cause of the incident.
Thank you to Netcare911 and Emer-G-Med for assisting with the patient.
