Five (5) knife-wielding suspects are being sought for a robbery that occurred in the Verulam CBD – KZN this morning (Friday).
A 58 year old man was accosted by the gang on Wick Street. They overpowered and robbed him of his Samsung cellphone, a carton of Boss cigarettes, a R2200 Hollywood Bets voucher, R1800 in cash and a pair of shorts that he had just purchased. The Pensioner thereafter sought assistance from a local business. The suspects are believed to be drug users responsible for a spate of robberies in the Verulam CBD – KZN.
