The South African Police Service in Namahadi is appealing to members of the public for assistance in locating a 33-year-old man who has been reported missing.
Mr Themba George Maleka was last seen by his wife on Monday, 23 June 2025, at around 08:00 when he left their home in Mangaung Village, Namahadi. He reportedly intended to travel by taxi to Palm Bridge in Vereeniging to visit a relative but has not been seen or heard from since. He was expected to return the same day.
His cellphone has since gone to voicemail, and efforts to locate him through family and friends have yielded no success. He has been officially circulated as a missing person and a search party has been established to aid the investigation.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Mr Themba George Maleka is urged to contact the Namahadi SAPS on 058 718 4236 Captain Lepholletsa Moloi on 082 56 5243. Alternatively, they can call the Crime Stop hotline at 08600 10111. All information will be treated confidentially.
The search and investigation are ongoing.
