Between Monday 07 and Sunday 13 July 2025, the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Officers, arrested eight suspects in the Tsakane,Thembisa and Thokoza areas.
Following on information about individuals selling illegal substances in the community, Officers were able to arrested the suspects in possession of cannabis (dagga), mandrax tablets, crystal meth and CAT, all estimated at a total value of R5 100 and a total cash of R250.
The suspects between the ages of twenty-five (25) and fifty(50) were arrested and taken to their respective police stations, facing charges of possession of illegal substances.
They are expected to appear at a Magistrate’s Court soon.
