A 25-year- old female suspect appeared before Seshego Magistrate court in connection with a murder of a two-year-old baby girl at Ga-Mashashane policing precinct under capricorn district on Friday 25 July 2025.
It is alleged that on Thursday, 24 July 2025, at approximately 09:20 in the morning, the police were summoned to the victim’s residential place at Ga- Mashashane Jupiter village in capricorn district. On their arrival at the scene, they found family members who pointed out a victim (child) who was sleeping on the bed unconscious. The medical personnel were summoned. Unfortunately, the victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
The preliminary police report led to the arrest of a 25-year-old mother of the victim for murder.
She appeared before Seshego Magistrate court today Friday 25-July-2025 for murder, and her case was postponed to 01 August 2025 for formal bail application.
