While conducting patrols around Eldorado Park Extension 2, members of the Eldorado Park SAPS and Gauteng Traffic Wardens spotted a suspicious vehicle with two occupants. The suspects attempted to flee but were stopped. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of live ammunition and an unlicensed firearm. Both suspects were apprehended.
In a separate operation along Main Road, officers arrested another suspect found in possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition. The suspect was also charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
