While on patrol duties in Benoni, the Gauteng Traffic Wardens STT in the Eastern corridor responded to information regarding a white Isuzu that was hijacked in Germiston.
The officials managed to recover the vehicle in Modimolle street in Mayfield Benoni. The vehicle was found fitted with false registration plates along with the vehicle that was used to escort the hijacked vehicle and the suspects fled the scene.
Anyone with information is urged to come forward so that the perpetrators are put behind bars.
